Originally from Auckland but now based in Cambridge, Ally Wollaston excelled on the track at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. She capped off New Zealand's Olympic campaign with a brilliant performance in the points race of the multi-event omnium, securing the bronze medal.

Starting the final event of the omnium, the points race, in seventh position, Ally had a quiet beginning. However, she came alive in the latter half, lapping the field twice and consistently earning sprint points, including a crucial double-point sprint in the final round.

Ally was also part of the silver medal-winning team pursuit squad alongside Bryony Botha, Emily Shearman, and Nicole Shields. The New Zealand women’s team led for most of the event but finished second to the USA in the final, recording a time of 4min 04.927s, with the USA finishing first in
